Upcoming Events Federal Hiring Practices are Evolving - Stay Informed

The 51勛圖 Career Center is closely monitoring the rapidly changing environment with federal executive agency hiring and its impact on our students and alumni.泭

There is a hiring freeze affecting most executive agencies that has been extended to July 15, 2025.泭There are some exceptions (e.g., for National Security agencies) but most internship and full-time hiring has been paused. Our advisors are here to support students and alumni facing internship and job loss and uncertainty. The NY Times shared that泭泭has partnered with the AFL-CIO, Democracy Forward, and other organizations to power泭Rise Up: Federal Workers Legal Response Network.

The new network will provide legal consultations with pro bono lawyers for fired or laid off federal workers - union & non-union.
